Boost up Your Mozilla Web Browser
This trick actually used when surfing on public net cafe where each computer has limited bandwidth. Thus, even though there is little few people use it, the connection remains with indifference. Sometimes the user is too smart, and can change this situation to a better one. These a little few steps to boost your Mozilla Browser to be faster than earlier:
- On the address bar, type “about:config”
- Find preferences below then change the value with true by double clicking or right click ==> Toggle
- network.http.pipelining –to be- true
- network.http.proxy.pipelining –to be- true
- network.http.pipelining.maxrequests –to be- 8 (to do this, right click ? modify, then change the value as you want but don’t make it too high because it is not so effective, and can be presumed as flood either)
- Next, right click at anywhere, click new ==>, give this key with name “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” ==> click OK ==> enter the value with 0 ==> presses OK.
- After while press F5 button (to refresh the page).
- Download Firefox Addon “SwitchProxy v1.34” from this link SwitchProxy v1.34 addon, then install it and restart your firefox.
- To get extra speed, use just one single tab. If you want to browse several webs, choose new ==> new windows. This way is so effective when using at public internet café, but it can cause another user disturb because you suck their bandwidth.

This pipelining function will able to make your browser get extra speed because data which is transferred by web server is not have to in multiple times, it can be said that this method is similar as downloader program that access web server in parallel way (not only one traffic line). When another browser does not use pipelining method, they will receive data in a series to show fully web page. Noteworthy, utilizing of this pipelining method is causing your browser has to work very hard. It is not such a problem if your computer has ultimate processor technology, but it will be one big problem for low-end processor. For low-end processor this trick instead of reaching extra speed but otherwise will make slower speed. While pipelining.maxrequest is to define how many queues of connection could receive data from web server, default value is 4 (for some other old web server is not support this pipelining).
