After succeed to sell EEE PC 401 in 5 million units for just 5 months, its fairness if Asustek raise high hope to their 900 version. If the earlier information about EEE PC 900 as only empty issue, recently Asustek decide to give more information about their product. Completely specification that amazing product are 9 inch touch screen with resolution 1024 x 600 pixel, 1 GB RAM, HDD 4GB or 12GB which is soldered straight to the main board, and pre-installed Windows XP version. While for product based on Linux will offers SSD (solid-state-drive) 16GB or 20GB (to compensate the price difference to Windows version).

Besides, they present 1.3 megapixel webcam for chatting needs. But the most special feature is FingerGlide technology on the mouse trackpad which make the user can resize an image in real-time and two fingers scrolling. As information, Asustek is the second manufacture after Apple which provides this feature.

But, Processor Atom is not available yet in EEE PC 900 which is price 500 USD. That feature specification just the same with the earlier that is processor Celeron M low voltage, although CPU speed a little bit increased from 630MHz become 900MHz. if you still want get ATOM integrated, you have to wait till June 2008.
