Virus-Popular Best Detector by Av-Comparatives
To complete the various Antivirus test results by AV-Test.org before, this time we see the test results from AV-Comparatives (independent institution that is also do antivirus test) recently. Av-Comparatives doing a test in form of: on-demand detection (test with a direct sample virus scan), False Alarm, Speed Test and Proactive test.
The last test in August 2008 and the report have latest update on 15 September 2008. This test focuses on the ability to detect viruses, detect errors (false alarms) and scanning speed. What are the antivirus software on the test results and how?

Another test is to detect errors and Scan Speed (please see the complete results on the web site av-comparatives). Conclusions given by the AV-Comparatives are as follows:
For products with the Advanced + rating, AV-comparative entering the category of very high-level detection rate (The ability to detect is very high). However there are other issues that also need to look at / considered false alarms, for example, the quality of support, ease of use, the use of memory / CPU and others.
