Freeware Audio Video Converter
This time I will discuss about audio video converter which is as interested as WinFF, SUPER and Quick Media Converter, it is called FormatFactory which seems produced by Chinese Programmer. This application is using FFMpeg library, like others software above. Besides its ability to convert various audio and video formats, FormatFactory can also convert various image file format. It has some interesting additional features.

- Supporting almost all over audio format file conversion, video and image to other format file.
- Repairing broken audio and broken video.
- Decreasing file size.
- Supporting iPhone format, iPod multimedia.
- Image conversion is supporting zoom, rotate/flip and tags.
- DVD Ripper.
- 30 languages available.
As like as SUPER, FormatFactory is only available for Windows OS, if you are using linux or others, then you have to use WinFF as alternative. By standard setting, when I try to convert FLV file to AVI file, the result file has smaller size than convert using QuickMediaConverter.
Audio Video Format which is supported
Format factory almost support all of audio video format which next could be converted to these kind of format file as following:
Video: all format into MP4, 3GP, MPG, AVI, WMV, FLV, and SWF.
Audio: all format into MP3, WMA, AAC, MMF, AMR, OGG, M4A, MP2, or WA.
Image: all format into JPG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TIF, ICO, PCX, and TGA.
Mobile device: MP4 format, supporting iPod format file, iPhone, PSP, Blackberry, and Zune.
DVD/CD/ICO: DVD to Video file, DVD/CD to ISO/CSO, and ISO to CSO or reverse.
To use it, just click one of Conversion icon menu, like All to AVI, icon All to MP4, afterwards just decide audio format or video which want to be converted.
