Meta, Search Engine Best Pal Which is Declassed
Meta tags is the old product which is used since the middle age of internet and HTML, there so much people forget it. Even there are some people said “Meta Tags Are Dead”. Is it true?
I don’t know why there lot of people hates this, the fact is, and Meta could help you guys. The best reason for this because Meta is the old friend of search engine. So, although some people said conversely, I believe to my experiences. “Meta Tags is the old friend of search engine and if you want to make your site/blog SE-friendly, I suggest using Meta Tags.
Do these things to your Meta:
- Use Geo Tag accord with your target visitors. Matt Cutts, Google insider has given signal about the importance of site/blog localization and personalization to related site/blog SEO process. One of the implementations through Geo Tag. So, there is no excuse don’t use this.
- Use Meta Tag Description. Rules are:
- Describing site/blog description.
- Each site/blog pages have to have different description. Don’t make it same.
- Put related keyword to the page content.
- Use Meta Tag Keywords. Rules are:
- Could be word or phrase.
- If the keyword is in noun form, better use plural. That is: books, computers, etc.
- Each site/blog pages have to have different keywords.
- Use Meta Tag Robots if you don’t use robots.txt. rules are:
- Put Command “index” and “follow” to your site/blog main pages. For example: front page and article page.
- Put command “noindex” to the pages which half of the contents are the other pages duplication. That is site/blog archives page.
- Put command “nofollow” to the pages which have links to other pages. That is link exchange.
