Google Blog Search
Google has launched new services such as search engine for blogs that called Google Blog Search (GBS). With this service, Google users can be expected to dig up information that may be obtained from the blogs there. This service is launched likely because blogs are appearing increasingly in large number and many people who access the blog.
GBS service can be used with a variety of ways, namely:
- Blogsearch.google.com with Google.
- Search.blogger.com with Blogger typical view.
- Blogger Dashboard.
- Navigation bars on every blog on Blogspot.
In this search usage, all the Google service standards can be used, such as site:, link: and title:. In addition to the standard services, there are specific search operators for GBS, those are:
# inblogtitle:
to search for the name on the blog. For example inblogtitle: blogging resources.
# inposttitle:
to search for titles based on the blog entry. For example inposttitle: Google Blog Search.
# inpostauthor:
to search for the name on the blog author. For example inpostauthor: albachtimi.
# blogurl:
based on the url for the blog. For example blogurl: albachtimi.com.
At the time tried to search the site operators: without keyword for example, site: albachtimi.com, the search results do not shows many things relate to my article and a lot of thing I have done. However, if followed by keyword, for example, site: albachtimi.com Wordpress, this will not shows anything. After trying the blogurl: operator by including blogurl: albachtimi.com without followed search keyword provides albachtimi.com blog entries. Unfortunately, the incoming entries seem not up to date.
However, welcome Google Blog Search!
